Product Description:
The TrueHeat160 (160W/m2) very thin underfloor heating mat kit is designed for installation on concrete floors under floor tiles.
160W Heat Mats can be used with Laminate flooring with 8-10mm self-levelling compound on top. *Please check that your floor finish is suitable for underfloor heating before purchasing.
The underfloor heating mat is 0.5m wide and can be shaped to fit any free floor area which is at least 10-15% larger than the size of the mat. The TrueHeat consists of a self-adhesive fibreglass mesh with a very thin heating cable fixed to the mesh.
The TrueHeat underfloor heating mats are available in a wide range of sizes and an unlimited amount of heating mats can be used to heat any floor area

TrueHeat160 160W/m2 underfloor heating mat kits contain the following:-
- 160W/m2 self Adhesive Underfloor Heating Mat(s) with 1 cold tail
- Flexible conduit for floor sensor
- Thermostat c/w floor sensor (if selected)

Control
Up to 22m2 of TrueHeat160 heating mats can be controlled by a single underfloor heating thermostat.
For larger areas, please use multiple thermostats or a contractor to switch the load.
For warm floor applications, use a thermostat with a floor sensor only. For total heating a thermostat should be used with air and floor sensor, the exception to this would be wet areas, such as a bathroom, where the thermostat must be mounted outside the wet area with the floor sensor in the wet area floor.
Applications
TrueHeat160s can be used in any room with a concrete base floor, the only stipulation is that the TrueHeat underfloor heating mat is covered by a flexible tile adhesive and/or self-leveling compound.
