Enjoy the comfort of warm flooring and even heat distribution with the TrueHeat 12W/m Thin Underfloor Heating Cable Kit. Designed for installation on wooden or concrete subfloors beneath floor tiles, this loose cable system offers complete flexibility to suit your room layout.

Available in a wide range of sizes, TrueHeat cables allow you to install exactly the amount of heating required for your specific floor area.

Selecting the Correct Cable

To choose the right cable, you will need:

The free floor area to be heated (excluding fixed furniture and units)
Whether the system will act as a primary heat source or secondary (comfort) heating

Each cable covers a minimum and maximum floor area. Coverage is based on installation outputs ranging from:

100W/m² (wider cable spacing)
Up to 200W/m² (closer cable spacing)

Please refer to the sizing table in the image section to determine the correct cable for your project.

Thermostat & Control

A single underfloor heating thermostat can control up to 3600W of TrueHeat heating cable.

For larger installations:

Use multiple thermostats, or
Install a contactor for higher electrical loads.

A contactor is an electrical switching device designed for higher current applications.

Thermostat Setup Guidance

Warm Floor (Comfort Heating): Use a thermostat with a floor sensor only.
Total Room Heating: Use a thermostat with both air and floor sensors.
Bathrooms/Wet Areas: The thermostat must be installed outside the wet area, with the floor sensor positioned within the floor.
