The ezmat140 (140W/m2) very thin underfloor heating mat kit is designed for installation on concrete or wood floors under laminate or engineered wood floors. The underfloor heating mat is 0.5m wide and can be shaped to fit any free floor area which is at least 10-15% larger than the size of the mat. *Please check that your floor finish is suitable for underfloor heating before purchasing.
The ezmat consists of a fibreglass mesh with a very thin heating cable fixed to the mesh, covered with an aluminium foil
The ezmat underfloor heating mats are available in a wide range of sizes and an unlimited amount of heating mats can be used to heat any floor area
Control
Up to 24m2 of ezmat140 heating mats can be controlled by a single underfloor heating thermostat. For larger areas, please use multiple thermostats or a contactor to switch the load.
For warm floor applications, use the a thermostat with floor sensor only. For total heating a thermostat should be used with air and floor sensor, the exception to this would be wet areas, such as a bathroom, where the thermostat must be mounted outside the wet area with the floor sensor in the wet area floor.
